Set in the 1940s, Timepiece follows an elderly clockmaker, played by James Earl Jones, who faces racism and is accused of murder after a racist man is killed.

Kevin Kilner's character comes forward and claims that he committed the killing in self-defense. At the same time, his family is struggling through crises of its own, including his daughter's battle with meningitis.
