About the Film

Mike Halligan is a retired Manhattan police officer now living in California with his family. When he discovers that his grandson has never seen snow, Mike decides to take him to New York and show him what a real white Christmas is like.

But Mike suddenly dies from a heart attack before he can fulfill his Christmas wish. He makes a deal with an Archangel to return to Earth for one week, giving him another chance to spend Christmas with his family.
