Ally Sheedy plays Jessie Montgomery, a rich out of control brat. Raised in Beverly Hills by her widowed father (Tom Skerritt) Jessie never learned the meaning of the world no, but now her wild behavior has her father wishing she was never born. His wish is granted by fairy godmother Stella, played by Beverly D Angelo, in an effort to save Jessie and teach her a much needed lesson. Jessie goes from a wild child without a care in the world to being homeless, penniless and without anyone who recognizes her from her former life. She is forced to take a job as a maid for a wealthy family to earn a living and must quickly learn how to get along with the existing staff.

Sheedy and Skerritt are solid throughout this film. A very funny 80s comedy with some hip romance built in. This movie is both funny and touching and shows the importance of true friendship. This 80s Rom Com is always a pleasure to watch. Maid To Order DVD is an excellent 80s romantic comedy packed with laughs and heart. Maid To Order DVD is a funs 80s Romantic Comedy and will keep you laughing the whole way through.
